Traditional Artwork of the Month Contest Entry

This was done using the Dutch pour technique which is a fun technique I often use. I mixed separate pots of acrylic paint with just water - white, purple, iridescent turquoise and gold - to make a runny consistency. I coated an 8" x 8" canvas board with white paint, then in one quarter of the board I poured circles of the other colours. Next I used my hairdryer to blow the white paint over the other colours, then back again to form interesting shapes ......still having fun ......
