I've just had my eldest granddaughter, who is 15, staying with me for a week and we've had a lovely time doing all sorts of things - tie-dyeing, playing board games and cards, baking, collecting pebbles from the beach and painting them. This is one of the pebbles I painted. I mixed various acrylic colours with PVA glue, water and a few drops of coconut milk hair serum, then put layers of paint into a small pot and flipped this on to the pebble. I then moved the pebble around to create shapes, also blowing through a straw to help. We had great fun ......
