My Favorite Little Hot pool

Belgian Hot Pool

Just returned from Yellowstone National Park this past Friday 9/20/19. Spent 4 days giving my iPhone a good work out. One of my favorite things to see are the various geyser basins. Of all the wonderful hot pools and colorful formations this little guy is my favorite. It is called Belgian Pool and is located off the beaten path above and behind Old Faithful Geyser. Most people never see this one. I have seen it change over the years and I believe it gets better with time. The grooves in the throat are a bit more distinct than two years ago and it shows a bit more maturity. The green thermophiles tell me that the temperature of the water is somewhere between 120-135 degrees F. It is not large measuring about 12 feet long by 5 feet wide. What it lacks in size is more than made up with charm and character. I love this little guy and I hope you do also.
