Sharpie and Bic Art Contest Entry
I do a lot of pen-art and call it my sofa-art. I have books now just for pen art. I used to throw it away but was inspired by a colleague on FAR who is a sharpie artist and told me all about his art. I went out and bought a stack more sharpies to add to my collection of pens, which I had always used for drawing with /rarely used pencil/ They are fantastic as it means I can sit on the settee and just create. Whereas when I paint, I have to be where the brushes etc are on the other side of the room, sad part of having just one room to live in and as a studio! This was a Sunday afternoon, I was watching a program about Tibet and this sort of flashed on and off. But I caught enough of the sense of it to create a view of my own with pens! I had used pens before as pencils just to draw but now I use pens to paint with.
