This cute little rodent is a Field Mouse, also known as a Deer Mouse.

Sadly these guys can potentially pose health risks to humans since they carry the deadly Hantavirus. The virus causes a respiratory disease in humans that is fatal in about 40% of people afflicted. Rodents have been deemed responsible for many a human illness throughout the ages, such as the Bubonic Plague, but recent studies have revealed suspicions that humans were the main carrier of the fleas and lice that spread the plague - and not rodents as historians had speculated.

The Field Mouse is a completely different family than the house mouse. They are about the same size but they have larger eyes and are faster and more agile than other mice.
