A riot of colours inspired by garden flowers

Riotous Flowers

We've been having some dark gloomy days in November so I wanted to cheer things up by creating a riot of colours inspired by flowers in my garden during the summer months. I mixed various acrylic colours with PVA glue and water, then poured pools of colour on to a piece of glossy photo paper. I blew through a straw to create shapes and also used a rubber glove blown up like a balloon to dip on to the paints to help. Just having fun creating images without using a paintbrush ....
