I have a friend who is Swiss. She is an artist and visits the island regularly. She was in Switzerland for her birthday (and stuck in lockdown )and sent a photo of a birthday posie in a brandy glass along side a wine glass set in her window. There was thick snow outside and it reflected through the water and glasses. I liked it so much I did my version in watercolours at a slightly different angle. The colours throughout are very soft and mild deliberately to capture that winter feel. I did it in a contemporary abstract style.
