This butterfly was a Monarch that I modified it to have a new look. I cut out the original orange color and replaced it with my backdoor screen, behind the butterfly. I thought the screen gave the appearance as butterfly scales.Using different filters I brought out the hidden colors in the screen. I used some of that color to create stripes in the wing. I also highlighted the butterfly and the flowers, embossing both. The original blossoms of the flower the butterfly was on were arranged into a new shape and to fill in empty spaces.
