This a portrait of my grandpa who is an army veteran and has fought for his country, and for the last part of his life has also dedicated himself in the fight against dementia. Many veterans have honorably fought for this country, but millions of people even outside of military service have also been plagued with this horrible disease. It makes even the toughest among us vulnerable and feeble. Not matter how rich or poor you are, Dementia strikes at many in the elderly community. As with many families it is our responsibility to return the favor in what they?ve done for us all their lives, Love, Protect, and Stand by them.
