Make me smile Contest Entry
Gerberas are a flower that seem to think two heads are better than one. I've seen many a flower among them that almost has split in two. Most Gerberas do stick with one head, but I always manage to find at least one that has a mind of it's own. This flower split with just the signs of another stem being present.
.........Though I added some touches to the background I did not arrange the flowers to appear this way. I saw two big eyes and a smile! :o) I hope you do too. Hope the image and poem cause you to smile!

What's Smiling Back at Me

I have a story I must tell
That you may not believe
But it's all true, I swear it is
Hold on as I retrieve

Forgive me for assuming this
But, I know what I saw!
A happy smiling flower face
That filled me with great awe

I can not quite imagine how
A sight like this can be
But, there it was with great eyes
Just staring back at me

My body wasn't full of drugs!
I've never smoked the "Weed"!
My glasses had my eyes in check,
So what gave me this feed?

I have to say that it was cute
And I so loved the grin
But I am in a tizzy from
What brought this vision in

I grabbed my camera so you'd see
And took this awesome shot
For those of you who disbelieve
It's not from photo shop!

My hearts still pounding from the thought
That I just failed to see
The power Mother Nature has
That bring us to your knees

Ole Mother Nature thrives with guise
I bet she just slipped in,
To show she had a funny bone
And give my mind a spin

Moral of the poem....Expect the Unexpected!
