Yes, it does look ready to launch itself! The birds here in Lancashire are devouring food at rapid rates!! Your image benefits from being well composed, sharp with fine exposure. Nicely taken!

Apparently they
Will come looking for food
In bad weather,
They looked lovely against the snow with their lovely markings. Jo

Had some snow but not a great lot. What we have and too much of though are strong very cold winds!

Wow. That is a gorgeous shot. The subtle lighting playing upon the feathers and post. The lovely greens, cremes and browns.
Quite enchanting.
The bird's pose is unique and quite well framed.
DOF is perfect.
Poster/Calendar perfect if you will.

The capture makes me think the bird is saying.."whatcha want?" Lol. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this bird is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer
