You know, I really love to review your work. Every pose a picture. The colors tone is soft and smooth when combined with the beautiful background.

I really like your work, you definitely have your own painting style! I knew it was yours even before I saw your name there!

Love how you paint both water and clouds. I'd give it six stars if I could, but not a full member yet!

Love the feeling of the rough ocean in this. Your textures are great, love the way you have done the rocky cliff, and there is a lot of movement, and expression in this piece. I really love your brush work, it's wonderful in this piece.

The colors in this are grand and the way you take our eye to the lights are excellent. I am no expert but I like what I see. Nicely composed!

A fine painting suzanne.. The rock face is a perfect texture and the angry sea gives a reason for the lifeboat to be out in the first place. The sun just setting gives promise of a good day tomorrow. A really pleasant view..Thanks...Dennis

WOW! The drama in this is quite evident. Really enjoy the subdued colors as I feel they don't overpower the scene. Magnificent display of great artistry.

Love this painting Suzanne!
It has a somewhat spiritual aspect to it.
I can just imagine Moses wading through those waves.
Simple toned colours but with maximum effect.

Suzanne, incidentally, I used to go to the Ferens Art Gallery several times a week for a coffee years ago!!
Good old Hull.

Ye Olde White Heart...the best pint of IPA in all of England!
Memories...oh memories!

Many thanks for your great review. Good Olde White Hart pub! Coffee not so good at Ferens though.

    Hi Suzanne,
You are right about the coffee at the Ferens. But it was a nice halfway house between college and home, so I used to stop by with friends for a coffee & a scone!

By the way, I studied at the Hull School of Architecture.

Yes, I guessed that was where you studied! I worked for many years at HRI. Small world! Suzanne

Nicely done... you have shown great action on the rough seas and a very good depiction of the angry sky. The rocks are well done and look very threatening. Good all round painting.
