You have done a stunning job on this piece. I love the overlaid bits of summer on this happy blonde. It truly tells the story of summer.

Thank you so much. The most work on this picture was to think it up. To find a blend what truly says summer, the summer of nature and the summer of a life.

This truly epitomizes the feeling of summer Cleo.. Your friend has the classic summer look and the scenery behind her is a great choice. Your choice of songs to quote worked well and as a general feeling this says summer to me..Good luck in the contest...Dennis

Thank you so much. When I took the portrait, I know Jeannie looked like summer, but the background didn't. So I had to make some changes.

Great effects for this one! Your use of the programs to create these effects have worked well. I like the end result you have been able to achieve.

That is by far one of my favorite Sinatra songs, hehe :) I really like your mixed media here, its beautiful. I think it would have been slightly better if you could see more of her face, thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for your generous review. It may would be nice to see more face but I didn't want to use a classical portrait shot here. This was an outside shot of choice, not set at all. She wasn't aware of it. You can't control the wind anyway. I actually prefer it that way, especially the wind blown hear. Not to see too much of the face makes it less personal and more to a symbol of 'the summer wind'. It is not so much a portrait but a metaphor of summer.

THis is a very cool and creative image! Beautiful composition and presentaion! Reminds me of the Flower Power times. When people felt so free... Great story telling element in your shot! Well done! Impressive!

Thank you so much for your great review. I did think of freedom but not of flower power when I did this. But you are right. There is an resemblance. Must be the flowers I waved into her hear. But I think it's also the lifestyle down here in the Caribbean. It's different than in the big cities of North America and even different of northern Mexico. Sorry for being late, just back from the US.

So sorry that I did not see yours before I gave up my six star ratings! I love this picture, I understand how difficult this is to combine. Not sure if you did this with an SLR or Digital, but I have done some of the double exposure with filters and SLR film and it is not easy to get it 'just right'. Wonderful picture.

Thank you so much. Don't worry about a six star your review count much more. I used different cameras for the 4 pictures in this collage and combined them in Digital Image suite. The portrait, the sky with the silhouettes and the flowers are digital. The butterfly is from an SLR and was scanned from a paper print.
Sorry for being lat. We was on the travel and just back home.

This is a very nice illustration of the wind effect. The picture attracts and holds attentionl You have a great expression on the model's face. Your work with other pictures is excellent and shows much talent.
