I like this a lot, willie. You have certainly put the focus on that tongue. I like the angle too. Nice colors in the flowers, and good background. Very detailed butterfly face. Thanks for sharing

What an extraordinary shot! How unique to capture the little creature with is tongue out like that! Great photography, colour, lighting and focus on the primary subject. I like how the background is blurred so as not to detract from the subject matter. Is it a moth?

Thank you so much! It is a butterfly, I'm sorry for not saying so in my notes. I told what its name. You can tell the difference between a moth and a butterfly by looking at there antini. The butterfly is like in the photo, and the moth has the feather looking antini.

Thank you for explaining the difference. It's beautiful.

Wow the details are incredible.I have had the opportunity to photograph this creature myself. while it moves fast I could not really identify it. A hummingbird it is?

Awesome shot. Great initial impact, great center of interest. Great color harmony. Amazing how that tongue reaches across into that flower. He must roll it up when he puts it back into his mouth! Interesting photo, thanks for sharing.

Wow what an amazing photograph. At first glance I thought it was just another butterfly on a flower and then I noticed his tongue!! He could do some serious work with that!! The photograph draws the viewer ton inspect all the finer detail of the insect that would not be visible to the naked eye. Thank you so much.

Sorry ran out of 6's. Great capture! Nice composition, framing and background. Focus and color spot on. You captured his fuzzy little and big black eyes beautifully. Details are awesome. I love these little guys, what they lack in color they more than make up in personality.

Wow, what a treasure to find in a ditch! Some of my best shots have been in the most unusual places - so glad you captured this. Subject is well framed and good use of natural lighting. The tongue certainly does add interest

Great artists notes. I always find these helpful and enjoy reading them. The title is very apt. And what a tongue. Never seen anything like that before or even realized they had a long tongue. Very clear image of the head with plenty of detail of the antenna and tongue too. Great nature image.
