Good colors, good focus and lighting. You have nothing else in the frame to detract from what you're trying to convey. Great Blue Herons are such adept fishermen. I like your choice of subject. Well done.

Great shot willie, it's a winner for me. Beautifully focused, lit and coloured, shows all the detail we need to see. I like the simplicity of composition and how you've lit the bird's head and the fish. Very well done and good luck.

This is very well captured. It is close but not cutting off anything around the edges. And the water is not pulling the attention away from the bird. Creative title. Good luck in the fishing contest!

This is a very nice capture of a heron fishing. I like the composition very much. The focus is super sharp. It would be nice if there was a little more contrast, but it is still a very good photograph.

Great capture. The sharpness, the focus and clarity are great. The dof is nice although I wonder what it would have been like if the water or ice in the background was a little more clear. Had this been the case though, there goes the camera speed and or ISO setting. Just wondering. This is really a great capture and very nicely done.
