It continues to amaze me how specific affects can bring a photo to look like a painting. The result here is so appealing and pleasing to view. The details of the stamen all around the large petals gives various points of interest. The colors of greens and lilacs are beautifully accented by the bits of orange scattered in this shot. Nicely done!

This flower really does well in the desert and if I'm not mistaken it's called a bulb. Like the idea of applying the effect having a different look and texture to it.Well-done.
