Thank you so very much! I live in walking distance from this lake so I don't pack a lunch, besides if I was to do something other than concentrate on the bird I would miss something!

If you look across the top of you screne you will see the different headings. In the center you will see contests. Click on that and you will see view booths, click on that and you will see all the contests that are in the voting stages. You will see on the right where it says view booth and you will be able to see all the pictures and you can vote on your favorite! The contests are a lot of fun and the very reason I love this site!

This is a brilliant shot of the bird with the fish in its beak. An excellently focused picture of a fast moving object.

No sixes left, however I have to say that this is an outstanding action shot.
Great clarity and color. Your pov and cropping makes for a great presentation of the action here. The natural lighting worked well for you, and I really like how the green reflecting in the water has created a wonderful natural background.

Great shot! Your patience definitely paid off! Shots like these are not easy to capture considering you have to be in the right place at the right time and then have good settings. Color, focus, composition all good. Good job!

this is amazing! i love the position this guy is in, to be able to see the amazing detail and strength in the wings. I would happily sit for 30mins and more if it meant an awesome photograph like this.
