Love this piece of work of two Bison's having a spat. The detailing is fantastic, I love the blue on the ground and the fact that none of the other Bison seem particularly interested. I wonder who won the argument?!

This is another excellent drawing. You know what i really love about the pointillism technique in this one? The actual dots are on the large side and therefor quite visible and this gives the impression of an almost primitive rendition...which is apropos and wry, since that recalls ancient native American cave drawings.

I really really like this piece of work. It was depth, colour, and action. I saw these fellows in Canada and I have photos. I knew they were big but I wasn't ready for the bulk of them. As you say they are HUGE is an understandment. i like the dusky air you have created. sandy

yes they are behemoths and just to think once there were million of them roaming the North American continent, of the USA and Canada is amazing.

Every color seen in the drawing is a dot . I start with the lightest color dots first and then work into the darker colors. The depth of the colors is achieved by, laying one color against another color or over the color underneath it, in doing so I get a third and forth color both visually and in reality. I was inspired to perfect the technique by some of my favorite artists: like Georges Pierre Seurat, Paul Signac, Camille Pissarro and of course his son Lucien Pissarro.

This drawing is approximately 4â?? x 9â?? and took me between 14 to 16 hours to complete. I am offering it as a signed and numbered limited edition print.

I love the technique you used on this one Lucien. I had to look up this particular technique, I found it extremely interesting, although very time consuming for the artist. six star for patience Lol but the painting itself is worth the six.

You are really a master of this form art. I don't think everyone could do this or have the extreme patience to see it through. You do a great job of blending the colors and creating the imagery of your subject. This is very nicely done. I actually like to pull my head back from the screen to see the image really come together.
