Very nice capture. Focus is a tad soft but what a site! I would up your exposure time to 1/2500 or I sometimes shoot them at 1/3200 to get perfect stop action clarity.
Love the pose you captured.

Thank you so very much! For that fast a shutter speed I would have to set the ISO to 800 or more. I normally shoot ISO 400 with a shutter speed around 1000-1200.

The profile of the bird enables to show off the beauty of the wings maximum.
The color and the texture of the father are so beautifully illustrated.
Besides this, I think the composition is well balanced. The curvature of the road and the yellow marking is strangely attractive in the image.
