I have similar flowers growing in my own garden but they are cultivated so obviously not the same plant. Read your notes and you say these grow wild. Very attractive with their pom poms. I would have personally filled the entire frame with the subjects. I think because of the nature of the subject, the photograph looks a bit unbalanced. The black background works well though in enhancing the shapes of the subjects and complimenting their colours. Good Luck in the contest at voting time.

Great macro shot with very good framing. the focus is perect where it needs to be perfect.
Great background and the various shades of color in the "buttons" invites the viewer to look at every one of them.
