Just beautiful. Wonderful focus, color, exposure and composition. Lucky to have these little guys around this time of year.

OUTSTANDING! I was saving my last six for this! I saw it but was busy with work and Christmas!
WILLIE! I still say you are the BEST photographer when it comes to FEEDER birds! This is FLAWLESS! Clarity and details are top notch! But it is the lone red Christmas ball that makes this even more special.
WELL DONE! Double fist bumps!
Superb camera skills and techs!

WOW! Thank you so very much! I have not had my blind up yet this season. The bad winds, ice and snow have messed things up not to mention this time of year is very busy. I hope to start shooting again next week. I will let the birds have a chance to not be afraid of the blind then I will go in, sit down and wait. After a few days I will put out some decorations for shots to use next year.

Good Morning Willie

I love it. Good composition and color selection. The red bulb in front of green foliage and the gray bird is a great combination.

Nice story. The bird is great. The smile on his or her face is fun and brings a smile to my face.

I really like this one Willie.

Congratulations

Roger

thank you so very much! I had the decoration on a limb just above the feeder and just sat there and waited. I really am glad you like it!

Aww..I just gave away my last six, this is superb, nice natural lighting, lovely detail and a wonderful composition! The greens in the tree make a lovely counterpoint for the little guy, and the ornament adds to the feel, I especially like that it is in the corner for balance to your bird. Donkeyoatey

If I remember correctly I think you have posted a bird and red Christmas ball before. I do not remember it well enough to compare, but this photo is really sweet. What a good idea to hang out the red ball, because then you don't need to add it in an editing process. With the branch of pines, the green background and the red ball this has turned into a very nice Christmas scene.

Your photo is of course nice and sharp showing clear and well defined details in the little bird, and a nice shine is captured in the ball. The exposure is perfect, and I like the nice and natural colors.

I also think this is a good composition with the branch in a diagonal line across a canvas, and the bird nicely placed within the frame. I don't think it matters that some parts of the ball are cut off. In fact, presented like this, it doesn't take over the scene, but still gives the Christmas feel. I think this is a really well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you so very much! You did see another one, I think this makes three I've posted. I have used these scenes to make Christmas cards.

You are most welcome, and I am sure those who received it thought it was a lovely Christmas Card.
