Beautiful. Really like the clips added to the blank canvas. Very effective arrangement. Blank and white contrasts work really well. A very nice creation.

This is so beautifully done Cleo, you are getting very skilled with your digital artwork. Thanks for the great notes explaining what you have done. This is so lovely because it tells a story!

I think you created that woodcut look fabulously. The second I saw it even before reading your notes that is what I thought it was. Excellent composition with the striking foreground butterfly geisha and how her tilted head draws us into the equally lovely background scene. Original, creative, and unlike anything else I have seen here on FAR. Great job, Cleo.

What a wonderful technique Cleo. So very creative - different and original and very enjoyable to view. The black and white makes this a striking image and yet the intricate detail is so pretty. Just lovely - and very clever work!

Truly fine job. There is great harmony in the picture and good depth. There is a good flow around the image. I wonder if the upper left might have some speckled white openings. I found it a bit heavy with respect to the rest.

Thank you very much for your kind review and your suggestion. I have a look. Maybe I need to lighten the left up. There are white specks implying the woodblock texture allover in this cloud. Maybe it is not enough to show up enough in the resized posed.

Oh this is wonderful cleo and so Japanese. Enjoy everything about your block image. What appeals is that your image truly appears like a cut wood block image. We used to do this in High school so know what you tried to achieve, no easy task. Think we used a soap bar but cant remember. Thank You for your very informative, absorbing narrative and most of all your beautiful image. Think I used Ivory soap.

Thank you very much for your kind review and those many stars. Ivory soap. I never tried that. I used linoleum and potatoes.

You are very welcome! Yea, potato's that 's what it was not a soap bar. Guess one could carve a soap bar but wouldn't hold the ink very well-LOL-.
