Great looking flower Willie and the angle of the shot is excellent. Really brightens up a dull day seeing the vibrant yellow against the blue sky. Excellent focus.

Not too many grown around here but they grow lots in Manitoba and Ontario. I like the angle you rook this at and the focus, contrast and detail are all very good Willie and thanks for sharing.

Really nice image. Colors are a perfect bright and the image is so sharp you can see the tiny hairs on the stalk.
Yellow is such a difficult color to work with. But here it is sharp and clear and a delight to see.
You have done well with this one Willie. I love it.

Personally I think the sky is a bit too blue, but I know that's just me. I do however have a feeling that also the greens are a bit over saturated. Still this lovely sunflower is standing out from the sky in the most excellent way.
Your photo is pin sharp showing clear and well defined details in every part of the of the flower, and the exposure is just perfect.
The cropping is perfect, and the flower is nicely placed within the frame. Which of course makes for a well balanced composition. I think this is a really well taken shot and with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Thank you so very much! The sky is blue but I had no control over that as it really was that blue. I have learned a lot with these sunflower pictures. I will be glad when flowers are in bloom again and can try a few things!
