Nothing can represent Christmas better than the red Cardinal, and this one you have pictured really well. I also like the ice formations just in front of it. Because of the nicely softened neutral background, the bird is standing out in the most excellent way.

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing clear and well defined details in the feathers, and the bright and shiny eye is also standing out really well. Very nice and natural colors and perfect exposure.

The photo is nicely cropped and the bird has got a good placement within the frame. Really well taken and lovely photo Willie, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Hello Willie

Great initial impact. The bird is well presented and beautiful.

The background is really ice. The color is an unusual dark white with purple shading. I am surprised at how good that looks. Neat stun,

The other supporting items like the green limbs and brown trunks are rich and crisp.

I like this image a lot. Congratulations.

Roger

Beautiful. Love the lighting and focus. Great eye, both you and the cardinal. Very nice composition. I could see this as a Christmas card.
