This is a very beautiful portrait of a young man. When I used to paint on a canvas with acrylics, I never would have even thought of doing a black and white one--but yours is so well done and so striking to the eye. It is lovely and I can not see one thing in it that I would criticize. Great work!!

I don't know who this person is. That said I think it is a very detailed study. In places, like the folded arms, it almost looks like a photo. I like that the background is lighted around his head so hair is distinguished from it. Very nice portrait. Well done!

Hi Linda, my initial reaction was WOW! This is an incredible likeness of Steve Perry! I love Journey and always have! This is impressive to view, excellent show of his hair in that 80's style , his face is well shaped and structured and facial features are perfect, I love the expression too! He wears a white shirt, unbuttoned to reveal a bit of his chest and has his arms folded in front of him.the shirt is tucked into his denim jeans! This is very well rendered and truly a pleasure to view Linda!
