Well you did it this time Grace. Great job using a long lens. Extreme focus on the subject with the background blurred. Very sharp even got the catch light in it's eyes. Light and shadows are superb. Well worth 6 stars.

Marvelous crisp sharp focus and absolutely outstanding job on exposure...which could have been tricky w/ all that white! Getting that beautiful little face and showcasing has made just the most delightful photo of him.
No trace of where you removed the leaves either. I am impressed all the way round here! The furry texture of his coat comes through perfectly and the color of his eyes as well as his nose...well, just spot on.
I love it. Cannot see a thing I'd change here. Gets my best rating...easily!

A lovely portrait of a wild animal, which makes it even more special. The white fur is not too white and contrasts nicely with the background. The pale blue is a bonus in your picture. This fellow must have really trusted you for you to get such a good shot of his eyes!

I love this...it gives me a pure and simple feeling of a beautiful creature on this beautiful earth. Wow! You have controlled your white balance quit well. Your blues are pure and the prettiest of blues as they move down into the snow and evolve in the prettiest of grays. The yellow on the face is typical of a white animal and very authentic.
Your light and shadows have played a nice shadow on your subject..showing his/her profile and that bright amber eye while letting us imagine that it is warming in the sun a bit.
I like your DOF .. it is shallow putting the clarity and detail on the eye and sunny side of the face. I find that to be very artistic instead of just a simple, successful capture with the entire scene clear and an equal part of the composition. Some scenes call for that. This one...with primarily white, is the perfect capture for how you have treated it at 4.5 . Love it!!!
