It is always nice to see alternate approaches to landscape paintings. The colours and textures really speak here. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Good effort!

Hello,
Good texture, depth, line. I love the sun in the horizon lighting up the sky.
I have a suggestion--maybe some red and green in it--not a lot but just a touch.

This is a beautiful piece. It shows a wonderful sunrise/sunset, but also an incoming storm, both characterized by the unusual lighting and colors, especial the purple reflection on what appears to be melting snow.

Thank you so much, Cleo, and thank you for the exceptional rating. It definitely made all the trouble I had with this painting worth it. LOL. And as usual, to me doesn't look the same here as in my program. Question: do you work and post your works at 72 ppi? And do your works look the same in your program as when posted on FAR? :))

    You're most welcome!
It is strange sometimes the look the same, other times not.
I usual use a higher ppi [350-400], but sometime I have to reduce the ppi, especial if I use metallic colors or glitter in paintings or accentuate photos.

A semi surreal rendition with fantabulous colors.
Enigmatic aura.
Mythical overtone.
Sharply focused.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Diminishing perspective leads to a sharper distant area of this landscape.
Vanishing viewpoint creates treat depth.
Thanks for sharing...

Powerful artistry in this landscape. The colors are artistically played, rich and full of light - engaging and captures me in a grand way. Great creativity in a wonderfully inviting way.. Thanks for sharing. Good Luck!

A very nice work here. The overall purple hue sets a certain mood to the scene. The splash of yellow between the mountains adds a nice element of contrast to the rest of the scene. Very nicely done ~ Steve

Who would believe that this artwork was done digitally? What a magnificent scene you have created here! I love the lighting effects through the trees and over the leaves on the ground. This is exceptional work, for sure.
