This is a fine entry to the Shoes as a Still Life. Good camera techniques and nice is the angle of your shot. Your framing is good with good placement of the black and white shoe. Your focus is good and sharp, with good lighting, and well defined details. Good luck in the contest! A good perspective and depth of field. Nice work and thanks for sharing!

Sounds like a typical woman problem. My wife is exactly the same! Your composition provides us with a good look at your problem. Exposure and sharpness are fine. The final choice in my view depends on what the rest of your intended outfit looks like. Well done and good luck!

This is a really cool idea for a photograph especially the contrasting colors of the shoes. Unfortunately the background color really hides the blackness of the shoe. This would be great with a different colored background! Good work, though. Keep it up.

Thank you very much for your honest review and input. I will check on the upload. At my original the background is much brighter than the black shoe. I might need to re-load the image.

I like the creativity involved in this shot and I guess I should expect no less :) I think the combination of two different style shoes and the choice of one black and one white was clever. The exposure is good and both colors show nice detail throughout. I also like that you have included several textures that harmonize well together.

Thank you very much for your review. I agree shoes are unusual in a still life, but I am thankful for this contest. The unusual request was challenging because id made me think "outside the box".
