Lovely subtle colours in this beautiful drawing of the little girl on the beach. I like all the detail you put into this with the material of her skirt, the buttons and her hair ribbon. Very good light and shade. Great composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

This is so darling - I saw it the other day and was called away before I could right a review. So glad I came upon it again. The over all subject here is darling and makes for such a wonderful subject that invokes innocence, curiosity and overall youth. The apparel (her dress and sweater along with a matching bow, further promote the feelings I earlier described. The overall light or pastel background supports her beautifully. Those little tiny hands are masterful. I could go on and on; the detail in her hair, the application of perfect highlights, the added interest of foreign objects on the beach, the story telling... It's all here.

Good Morning
I like the presentation of the young lady. Good composition of her placement and she is well drawn. It would be nice if she had a little space between the top of her head and the top of the frame. I am also not sure what the black slice in the upper left corner does for this picture. Last her left shoe has sand on it but just me but I would prefer a second black shoe like her left one.
I am sorry if I seem to be nit picking but I like this little girl and I looked at her carefully.

Love the ocean in the background that is done kind of subtle yet needs to be there. Shadows are perfect and you do feel the awe of it all in her eyes!

I absolutely love this. It's a beautiful picture. I like that the picture is sweet but isn't rainbows and butterflies. I love the dark in the background as if a storm is brewing.

What a beautiful portrait of this little one! I love the tiny little detailing, the rich palette of varied pinks and blues, your shadowing technique and lit accentuations to create form. Very atmospheric in tone and mood. Love the wind blowing her hair. This really speaks to the senses.
