I think digital art combined with photos has potential for great effects that both on their own can't do. This is a great example of this, how the natural asymmetry together with digital manipulation creates something as good as this.

Hi Annie, You always lovely Mixed Media images. Love the ghostly image of yucca in the background. The image comes across as light and delicate. Love the lighting and the background colors! :o) Helvi

Good Morning Annie
You have taken a simple bloom and produced an interesting story.
I like the color spread between the bloom and the body of the tree below. The white of the bloom is an off white which is rich and comfortable to view. The green of the tree is rich and I like the lighting of the petals.
Next we drift off into the distance and your very nice depth of field gives us a misty view of yet another Yucca bloom. I like that this is in a misty setting and headed away into the far distance.
I feel like there is a mystery area awaiting me and I would love to explore the area beyond.

A beautiful plant well shot. Crisp focus, good light. Not crazy about the special effect. A matter of taste I suppose, but I feel it diminished the shot.

This is a beautiful capture. I appreciate especially the exquisite detail of the blossoms and leaves. I have never seen those details so exquisitely captured in a photo. I guess the Topaz effects were helpful with that, but I know also that effects only work if they are skilfully applied to an sharp photo. The soft mirror image has added nice texture to the new background. I think also that this mixed media is nicely balanced and well framed.
