I admit that this kind of abstract is dazzling for me and hard on my because it is busy in shapes and colors. Nevertheless, it draw my interest due to the eye which looks almost realistic. The eye is excellently emphasized by the blue above it and the brows at the left side. It reminds me of some Picasso paintings even as your picture has a different style.

Thank you for such high praise! Picasso is my all time favorite artist even though I admit I don't always get his pieces.

I rarely comment on art because I know so little about it. Your notes give me an insight to the subject and your interpretation. All I can say is that every time I came across this image I had to stop and look again. I like the colors and the composition. I am not so sure about meaning, but meaning is not what I look for in an image.

I like the work and I like the meaning. I am so tired of the media telling us how we should look. How we should think. How we should act. OK. Off my horse. You have presented a wonderful message. Interesting to view. Pleasant to look at. Deep in meaning. Thank you for sharing.

Great abstract indication of how we are never satisfied with our bodies. I love how the eye dominates this. I like your choice of colours and shapes very much, making a really thought provoking and eyecatching image. Suzanne

Abstract art is beautifully and intensively portrayed. A serious message is illuminated by use of bright contrasting pastels. The viewer's focus is immediately drawn toward the dilated black eye; it is captivating. Great job of creating abstract art to call attention to this important issue. All the best to for the contest!

This is very thought provoking. The eye, looking directly into the viewers soul. It just keeps staring at me. Stop. The design is beautiful, along with the colors. Definitely a truth in this picture. We are never satisfied with ourselves. Great work.
