Susan, I like everything about this except the frame. It steals the leaf's thunder. You do remember that I have great difficulties with borders....so I know this is your artistry at work and I bow to your artistic prerogative.

Thanks a million for your complementary review, I played around with the frame it was mainly to hide the dead grass & nettles around it.

I would prefer to find some ripe Rainer cherries, but have to wait until next April;
a good close up of this red cherry leaf with sharp focus;

Merci beaucoup mille fois for your complementary review. I too would prefer the Cherries.
This tree was grown from a pip out of a Cherry that I threw out into the garden...then next spring I found a sapling & it was later transplanted to the Park.
