Fred,
A thought provoking picture of this poor homeless man with all his worldly possesions piled onto a supermarket in plastic bags while he attempts to catch a few moments of sleep his head bowed down in his hood over his knees; while the World around ignores him! Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with sensitivity & superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Sadly a sight to be seen in Dublin too!
Susan

Not sure this works fred,understand you wanted to show this and there are more homeless people now everywhere.
Think though street photography covering this type of subject needs to be a bit more hard hitting,maybe a closer up view without the graffiti would have been better,and b/w does tend to make this type of photography more graffic,its not your type of photo fred,but its good you attempted to record this,i would try this again in a different perspective,not an easy subject to get right and not everybodys cup of tea...brian

    I just think it was more appropriate not to have a very close up of this poor man;

I like this photograph for what it says and how it makes us look deeper. It is my kinda photography and you have captured it well. The image is sharp and not capturing the man's face was a great way to shoot this for it makes us feel like "there but for the grace of God go I."

    of course I didn't want to show his face; he was half asleep and didn't ask his permission;
    thanks a lot Olga for your comments: I know this is your kind of prefered pics; but there are so many ugly things in this world....so I prefer to show the beauty of nature, rather than mankind:

    Sorry you see this as ugly....I don't, I see reality, raw and untouched...but it is not ugly.

Great photo. I love graffiti. And the street art it represents. Poignant the reality of the pile of belongings of all this person owns. Good work! Be well, safe home, walk in beauty. Rob
