This is a really nice painting. The multicolored yet color muted sky as the background for those well defined fur trees serves the feeling of depth. Add the foreground land on the left and the reflective lake on the right and it becomes picturesque. Very nice. The foreground tree on the right bothers me. It is a nice tree, but doesn't fit the picture. It seems to me to not be in harmony with the rest of the scene. I don't know how you could fix it, of course, to my point of view, but as it stand now, in my mind, it distracts from the gentle landscape feeling. Reasons for my five vote.

Beautiful painting! Love the warmth and serenity from this piece. I would suggest making the leaves in the tree in the foreground a bit larger as it ind of looks disproportional to the trunk size, but otherwise a beautiful concept and execution!

Truly beautiful! The lighting is just magical and sheds an ethereal glow over every element of the scene. An excellent composition also with the gorgeously rendered anchoring tree bending protectively over the scene. Depth and perspective all excellent. A wonderful contest entry. Good luck.

It is always nice to see alternate approaches. The colours really speaks here.I also like the gentle changes in light and reflections which seems to lead the gentleness of the entire scene. Good luck in the contest!
