This is beautiful. I really like all the sharp detail. The colors and textures stand out nicely. Your timing is very good to catch this fast little one looking so still. I know that couldn't have lasted long. The background color and softness is also attractive.

EXCELLENT bird Photography!
Everything I look for in Wildlife photos is working. Sharp focus, nice eye clarity, sharp details, Controlled white balance and superb DOF.

A very nice entry into the competition posted here! Like the traditional composition that you have employed. Exposure and sharpness are good and I appreciate your use of a wide aperture. Perhaps you could try reducing the background noise a little? Otherwise a very nice photo, well done and good luck!

WOW! Amazing detail here for something that is so small. The light that you have on the bird's back is great, showing off the feathers. DOF is good. I like the fact that this image is not cluttered. Well done and all the best for the competition :-)
