Your photo is very nice! I see you are coming in 2nd in the contest. I admit that I went back & forth with the other photo multiple times. Tough decision for me. The only reason I didn't choose this one is because the butterfly seems a bit over-clarified. It may not be. I never give suggestions to other photographers, but felt I needed to express why I went with the other. This is really an awesome shot! Nice bokeh! Great composition. Keep up the great work! You got the next one!

I am not sure what kind of butterfly this is either, but as all butterflies it is truly beautiful It is also a poser as your title indicates. The softened background is just perfect for the butterfly to stand out in an excellent way.

Your focus is spot on and sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen both in the wings and the body of the butterfly. I also think the exposure is perfect.

The format and the framing works really well and the butterfly has got a very good placement off to the right. A truly lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Extremely nice shot of a butterfly up close. The detail in the wings is superb. The composition is really nice with the butterfly off to the right as it is softly perched on the leaves. The muted background highlights the subject very well. Good luck in the contest.
