Thank you for your artist notes...I learned something new about one of my favorite trees ( they don't grow in South Florida). The reddish colors in the leaves are lovely and I like the nubby texture you captured.

What a cool shot Mary Eileen. The initial impact is great. That bud really stands out and the surrounding leaves make such a nice frame. There are Dogwoods all around here and there are many buds getting ready for the winter. They are so beautiful in the Spring. There are White, Pink and Red ones in many yards and in the woods. Nicely done Mary Eileen ~ Steve
