I like very much the simplicity of this photo and also the close and personal approach. You also have the most lovely greens as a background, and they go so well together with the pink flower.

The flower is standing out sharp and well defined against the background, and it is clear and well defined details to be seen both in the petals and the center of it. Also the exposure is very good.

The tight cropping works well and the slight diagonal placement of the flower is giving the composition a good balance. A lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.
