Find it VERY interesting when some here think they know Avian Anatomy. You have captured this Female Great Blue Heron with her blue eye lid half open. NOT her Nictitating membrane which is more like a contact lens whitish/frost translucent in Appearance which forms on the inner eye not the outer lid.
OUTSTANDING Capture of her with Perfect settings!!
When you listen...Boom! It all works..love that you can NO longer tell me your camera is different!

Good to know it is not the Nictitating membrane... I thought it was not since it was not frosty looking. Yes mame, nice to shoot with someone who owns what I own hahahahah. Thanks Sange!!

I so see what this means, contemplation. Silence is a great title because silence becomes active with your picture. Like for real, silence! I feel and therefore it is real. Hi there, I just referred a member to your portfolio as they were thinking of adding a signature to their images. I like this small size Eileen. The pundits will tell you that signatures need to be humble and small for it is the art that speaks loudest, and your images do just that.

Clean photograph, sharp (as a woman's tongue) good detail seen. You caught the nictitating membrane, a rare find.
