This flower is spectacular. Your focus and detail are pretty amazing. The light is sublime. For me personally, the bee is a distraction. I understand the connection to the title though. I just think the flower stands on its own. So beautiful.

This is a lovely macro photo! The light is wonderful, the flower appears to be glowing from within. The bee adds interest. Great entry for the contest! Best of luck!

What a great shot of this bee that looks like it's fly above the flames of a interesting flower, great details and depth and colors, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

This is awesome! I really like how that yellow in the center appears ultra illuminated, like the fiery depths of hell, lol!! The lotus is beautiful in this stage of growth and the visitor is a grand bonus to the shot.

very cool and the title does help create that illusion with this capture. the angle of the shot of this bug flying near this colorful flower is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. great eye and great job overall.

Very nice image and capture of the flower. On my monitor it feels very bright and over saturated, but that could be me. Nice detail in the flower center. The visiting bee is a bonus. Well seen.

Stopped by YOU to check out your earlier version of that LOTUS and saw this one you posted today. It is stunning.

Amazingly beautiful detail in this blossom. Such wonderful crisp focus and just the most lovely colors. Exposure is spot on and it is a perfect entrant for this contest.

Love your title and while I might like your flower even better without the visitor it is easily a gold star piece. Just beautifully presented. Best of luck w/ it in the contest.

A fantastic stop action picture of this tiny stingless Bee ~ Tetragonula carbonaria....with it's pollen baskets bludging with orange pollen as it flies into the glowing golden centre of the Blue Lotus flower. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
I looked the bee up..Wasps don't have pollen baskets.
