This is a beautiful and very detailed painting. I love the bright green costumes and the dark black and red background adds such drama. It's like I am watching this performance in person. Well done and thanks for sharing this with us :)

I really like how you paired up the green and red and did not make it seem like Christmas.
Your details in both faces are really nice.
The costumes seem to be spot on.
I like how you only illuminated them with the red and left the rest of the board black.
My mom just recently bought me some pastel pencils, can't wait to figure out what I am going to use them on.

Thank you so very much m you can use them on black art board and pastel bosrd as well as pastel paper you can get it all from blick art supply it will be delivered to your door any art supplies they have great deals for me an art store charges to much and I have to drive clear across town you and your mom should check it out

Just beautiful! I love the matching costumes in the green and blue tones, their position as they dance together is so very well presented here! Their facial detail and expressions so well applied. The red background was a wonderful choice to showcase this couple! Very nice work !

Well this one is very nice. The figures are in proportion. There is a nice balance with the complimentary colors of red and green supported by the repetitive balance between the black and white. When I say balance, I do not mean an equal amount of color. I mean a visual feeling of balance in that it looks like it is supposed to look that way. It is self supporting between the forms and the negative spaces. Reasons for my five star vote.

A great painting of these two dancers, dressed in the matching green and blue outfits and in harmony with one another as they perform a routine. The proportions and form are spot on accurate, and the shape and detail of them in this pose is great, with the expressions of concentration and physical exertion showing on their carefully drawn faces. The red "wash" just behind them is a nice to give them a background, with a darker one surrounding it with light coming in from the right making the whole piece stand out more. Great work, well done :)
