Nice painting. I like the background. The wings are cool as well with the different tones. The sleeves have texture to it. I would do the hands a little more defined. Thank you for sharing.

The first glimpse of your art I felt it was remarkable. You have stepped out of your usual and created a piece that is beautifully painted. Soulful. The blended color background looks like turmoil. Your angelic subject caught in the center. It is a story on canvas. I'm saving this one.

This is so impressive James especially considering the size of the painting. 36 x 48 is huge and yet you make it look like a tightly composed image. The position and pose is really well done as is the background. The right wing is a bit bright for the rest of the scene but not so much as to detract to the great work. Well done James ~ Steve

You are welcome. You are really good with your painting. It's beautiful. I haven't had time to do much lately. Next week I will finally get a break. I'm in drama club and we have a musical to perform next week, its been a lot of rehearsal, then homework then bed. So no time for art. Great job with this one.

Beautifully rendered painting of the fallen angel, the weight of his wings has become too much to bear, he's fallen and the wings lost their power to lift him, the detail here is very well applied I really like your choice of backdrop colors it must be autumn. Very well presented!
