Hi GaliaG thanks for sharing this excellent phot of the family awaiting the celebrations to begin. Great focus and exposure allow the fine details of their facial features to be clearly visible.. the little boy on the left has a lovely grin on his face, one of excitement and joy.. and the mum looks slightly concerned about what she is staring at in the distance. Her expression shows her concentration as she watches ... the little boy on the right seems to be gazing intently at something ahead.. holding his interest well. Their festive apparel in white cloth is bright and refreshing and appears as though they are well dressed for the occasion. The braided band around the mother's apparel is an interesting inclusion in her dress wear.. Their head coverings are of course part of their tradition and match nicely with their outfits. I notice there is a young lady in the background wearing white apparel also. I am wondering if this is a traditional choice for the occasion. Love her long curly locks of hair.. There are lots of seats laid out for the celebration.. Not all are filled as yet, so this family must have arrived early in order to get a good clear view.. Thanks for sharing this interesting photo that shows a little of the dress culture of the country. A well balanced scene with a happy emotional feel emanating from within. a pleasure to review. cheers mel

This could tell a story. Hard to find a good composition but you have achieved it with the small child on a third this balances the adult in the middle. The crop works well and I like the side lighting.Very good detail.

Nice choice when you captured this one, G. The limited colors along with the curving white chairs has created an artistic image. I believe if this were mine I may have tried a dark vignette as a simple way to take out the figure in the upper left corner as much as possible She does interfere with the family. And that is a strong story that deserves the entire frame. Your light and shadows have finished out well and allowed you to sustain the facial features. The sunlight that creates the shadows on their faces is really part of this story and doesn't bother me. This is a pleasure to view. Thank you for sharing.

Good human interest shot that has a storyline clue from your title.
Dramatic one sided lighting.
Fine facial features & textures.

Don't crop her fingertips!
So you won't be beheading all the people behind, try tilting your cam towards your subject as you stand higher...

Compact framing.
Thanks for sharing...
