Neil,
A beautiful portrait of Brad Pug his head tilted looking up at you his eyes twinkling & his wet nose shining in the light a question written all over his face. Created by very skilful brushwork beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bringing this little dog to barking life.

Very nice image of your pug. You have captured the personality well in this painting. The background sets him out well. I love the touch of pink for his tongue. Nice details and good texturing. Well done.

This is so lovely, Neil - sorry I haven't a 6 left as this really deserves one. Your use of the pastels, acrylic and oil paints has created a beautiful portrait of your friend's gorgeous pug Brad - I'm sure they were thrilled with this. Love how you've shown the different textures of fur, skin and eyes - those eyes are brilliant. I like the subtle background colour which makes a perfect frame. Beautiful painting and good luck in the contest. Suzanne

I love the technique you used and will have to research the oil glaze on line. It gives his face such an alive look. I love the fur texture. Pugs are so expressive. It is a beautiful pet portrait and I wish you the very best in this contest.

This is such an adorable pug.
You have done a great job in showing all of his details.
You've captured all of his lovely wrinkles and those wonderful little hair follickles that open up so when they are happy, excited or anxious.
He fur is so well done.
Great eyes, with all the refelction involved.
A wonderful painting and a pleasure to view, thanks or sharing.

This is a gorgeous entry to the pet contest. I love pugs and find them to be an adorable pet. This pug is so cute with it's head slightly tilted to the side and him looking up and away from the viewer. Love the color choices and how well it is drawn. Very lovely work of art. Good luck to you in the contest.
