This is mind blowing ! I just love how the different shades of blue play and intertwine ! If I look at this hard and long enough I start to see different images which makes it fun it would be really cool to actually work some distinct images in just for fun !

Oh this is way cool John. I am not an artist but I really like how the patterns and colors are at once complimentary and yet distinct from one another. The closer I look the more I can see just how artistic this is and how it takes a lot of talent to pull this off. Great entry for the contest and I wish you well in the voting John ~ Steve

like most abstracts the image is truly in the eyes of the viewer. some of course will see other things. nice flow with the brush strokes. the blend of color is great. the shading is great. the shapes and designs is balanced to interest the viewer. the only that brought this creation down is the presentation. cropping of the image is as important to the creation as the work itself. the edges and past of the creation can be distracting to the viewer. it is an easy fix and helps the artist be aware of how to get that extra ump to capture the viewers eye and hold. good luck on the next one and good job on this one for the work itself.

Nice and fun, the hues of blue are nicely separated or mixed. A bit of mystery in some of the intuitive design. Not sure how hard it was to do as I don't do this kind of thing. Not quite enough catches my eye though that I would want to display it. I do like the lower third, and wish this extended to the middle, for me that would make a difference... Daphne Oberon

No iris is one solid color, but rather a conglomeration of colors. That is what this painting shows. The many colors of the iris of a blue eye. Thank you for sharing.
