I think this is a truly lovely photo of Chinese Lanterns, and I especially like the fine textures you have brought out in them. I also like the neutral colored background, and how well the lanterns are standing out from it.

Your photo is very sharp showing such clear and well defined details in all the blooms, and the exposure is perfect. The colors are crisp and clear, and the light is falling on the plant in such a lovely way.

The photo is nicely framed and the lanterns are so well placed within the frame. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
