Excellent in my opinion. The idea of changing the background colour gives the whole portrait a new dimension. The face and the eyes are magnetic. Sreenivasan is an artist par excellence.

You did a really good job on the facial proportions. I like the experimentation you did with this to give it a varnish look. Nice tones as well and highlights. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sesh thanks for sharing this amazing artwork. I love it.. You have truly captured the essence of youth in this young child's face.. stunning in every way.. I appreciate your notes accompanying the work.. they explain the outcome of the artwork. the portrait of the boy highlights his features brilliantly.. the eyes are alive with emotion and the reflected light shown on the eye ball make him appear to be staring straight back towards me. the shading under his eyes and below his brows, gives the eyes a deeply set appearance and helps to capture his personality well. I love the rounded soft jaw line and chin.. shows his youthful complexion and fine features nicely.. the shading on his cheeks accentuates his features as does the shading around his nose... and mouth.. the highlighted lower lip works nicely to bring his mouth alive and make it appear soft and moist.. his hair is nicely rendered and lines his gorgeous face well. the greenish hue used to offer this unique appearance on the overall scene works perfectly.. giving the boy his very own intense characteristic appeal. the glow around the outline of his cheeks serves good purpose to make his face really pop. and the blended background hue is a great compliment to the portrait, bringing harmony to the scene. his little face emanates the innocence of youth, the pure essence of childhood perfection.. thanks for sharing this amazing portrait..
