Sure enough! You know what would also make a cool shot? If you zoomed in and cropped it tighter so that the center of the flower could not be identified. Even so, I do like this beautiful flower.

This poppy is beautiful and reminds me of the perfect flower for a fourth of July celebration. I love the red and blue together on the bloom. Excellent interior detail and beautiful exposure of the red color.

Poppies are very difficult flowers to shoot. You have captured this one fairly well. The red feels off to me on my monitor. I love the center, the color and design are well seen. You could do a tight crop of just the center and it would be an interesting shot on its own. Good job.
