Fantabulous colors reflected despite the slightly murky waters!
Crisp & clear detailed facial features!

Sharply focused.
Fluffy even when wet plumage still looks elegant.
Exquisite image.
Impeccable presentation.

Should do well at the polls!

Congratulations!

Thank you very much. These wood ducks are fairly common around my place in early spring but by this time of the year they all seem to have magically turned into mallards. I am glad you like this one. Thanks again.

I love these guys with their iridescent plumage. You captured a really clear refection there in the smooth green water ahead of him! Thanks for sharing, Daphne Oberon

I love the color in this photo and the clarity of the reflection . I love the fine detail of the feathers when I look at the enlarged version of it and appreciate how you allowed the duck to stand out against the neutral surroundings

What a beautiful picture of this duck! You have captured the colors and texture of his feathers so well; and the reflection in the calm water ahead of the ripples is just perfect. Great job. Love it.

This is an excellent photo of my favorite duck. It is clearly focused and the reflection is great! Love the way the ripples are behind but not in front. It is like a mirror.
