Awesome capture. I had the chance to see the Midway about 10 years ago. It was kind blowing at its size. This is the sister ship to my dad's ship when he was in the Navy. His ship was called the USS Coral Sea. The black and white really makes you realize how nostalgic this is. Thank you!

Beautiful black and white photo. I love the mix of horizontal and vertical lines. And the way the boat stretches the entire length of the picture is perfect.

I think this is a wonderful shot of the massive ship.
The light and textures are good.
I think the buoy adds interest and focus to the shot.

Excellent photo of this aircraft carrier in black and white. Quality focus and clarity with wonderful depth. The tour is probably very interesting to see all the history. Pleasure to view.

Black/white does suit this image of the ship.my only concern is that buoy is in the way and for me takes something away from the effect of the ship, your eye tends to drift to it,might have worked better had it been more in focus and more connected to the overall scene..Brian

I really like this photo. it has strong linear dynamics, shown in the lines of the ship, and the lines of those long floaty things next to the ship. the bobbing buoy in the foreground adds interest to this piece.
